At Sonesha, yoga is also about crafting balance in the body because it develops strength and flexibility. We achieve this through the enactment of poses or postures which have actual physical benefits. This also energises the 7 main chakras. Yoga and meditation assist with purification of organs and harmonising the endocrine system. Some poses are done in quick succession to create body heat through movement. A slower movement between poses is often recommended to improve stamina while perfecting the pose’s alignment. Our classes are tailored to provide students with maximum benefit using a variety of activities.

Sonesha retreats are suitable for all levels and no prior experience in yoga or meditation is required.
